Gamechemy is operated by Gamechemy Social Inc. ("Gamechemy," "we," "us," and "our"), which is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, date of birth, gender, photos, and profile details like interests, prompts, and bio. For location features, the App collects exact latitude, longitude, and geohash privately for your account; other members receive only your city/country and approximate or rounded location. We also collect information generated through your use of the App, including likes, matches, messages, game activity, community posts, device information, push notification tokens, crash diagnostics, and account or social sign-in identifiers from providers such as Google, Apple, or Facebook when you choose to use them.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate and improve Gamechemy, including matching you with other users based on your preferences and approximate location, facilitating games, chat, transactional account and event email, push notifications, safety tools, account deletion, and customer support. We also use information to enforce our Terms, prevent abuse, debug crashes and errors, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal requirements. We may use aggregated or anonymized data for analytics and service improvement.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: (1) other Gamechemy users as part of matching, community, games, and chat features; (2) service providers who help us operate the App, including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, and push infrastructure, Resend for transactional email delivery, Expo for app services, Sentry for crash and error diagnostics, and Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch (and, after repeated fake-profile reports, Web Detection) for photo safety review; (3) OpenStreetMap Foundation's public Nominatim service, which receives coordinates rounded to a 0.1-degree grid (roughly 11 km of latitude) for reverse geocoding and any city name you type into search, and processes request/network metadata under its own policy; (4) DeepSeek, which receives profile, Wingman, match-message, and visible game context through our server-side Wingman/AI proxy to generate responses and analysis, only after you allow it and subject to DeepSeek's own retention and training terms (see "Wingman and AI" below); and (5) law enforcement or government agencies if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of users. These providers may process data in other countries.
Email Notifications
We may send operational email about account verification, password recovery, account security or deletion, and Speed event requests, confirmations, schedule changes, cancellations, reminders, and post-event connection windows. You can disable optional Speed event reminder emails in the App; essential account and event-status messages remain enabled. Gamechemy does not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without a separate opt-in.
Photos
The App does not use your camera or microphone; profile photos are chosen from your photo library. You can control photo, notification, and location permissions through your device settings.
Wingman and AI
Wingman, our AI companion, and the chat partner in bot games use DeepSeek, an outside AI provider. Nothing about you is sent to DeepSeek until you allow it in the Wingman introduction. Once you do, each time you ask Wingman something we send DeepSeek your profile, your Wingman chats, intake answers, and memory, and what is on your screen. When you ask for help with a chat or about another member, that person's public profile and your recent messages with them, including theirs, are sent too. Your matches can use Wingman in the same way, so messages you send them may be shared with DeepSeek when they ask for help. DeepSeek stores data on servers in the People's Republic of China and handles it under its own terms. You can withdraw your permission at any time by turning Wingman off in Profile; nothing more is sent after that. Boss Battle dialogue sends DeepSeek only game events, never information about you. API keys are not stored in the mobile app.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Internal transactional-email jobs and delivery receipts are normally removed within seven days after reaching a final state. Email providers may retain limited delivery records under their configured service terms. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the Settings screen in the App, or by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we remove or anonymize profile and account data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms. A short-lived destination address may be retained only long enough to send the deletion completion notice.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict certain processing of your data; and request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the Contact Us page in the App or at support@gamechemy.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), secure authentication via Firebase Authentication, and access controls on our database. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This Website
This section covers gamechemy.com only. The website has no accounts or sign-in and sets no cookies. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver and secure the site.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure page performance. It records the pages you view, the referring site, your browser and device type, your approximate country, and page load timings. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not track you across other websites. We use these statistics only in aggregate, to understand how the website is used and to improve it.
Email you send to support@gamechemy.com is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to our support inbox and handled as described in this policy.
